There really is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to successfully forming healthy habits into your lifestyle. We’re all very different in our natural, innate nature. Just because a habit’s worked for one person, doesn’t necessarily mean that that same habit is going to work for someone else. You have to pick and utilize strategies that are going to work for you, based on you as an individual, and your natural tendencies. You have to assess:
what have you done in the past that
was unsuccessful? What have you done in the past that was successful? Trial and error different approaches until you can find something that does work for you.
If you’re naturally a night person, and you try and go to the
gym in the morning and that didn’t work for you in the past, it’s not necessarily that you can’t form an exercise habit. It may just be that the approach that you took wasn’t suited to your natural personality.
