We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! There’s even studies out there linking non-breakfast-eaters to being more overweight than regular-breakfast-eaters. Of course what you actually eat for breakfast is going to be the true determinant of it’s health and weight loss benefits. Just about all boxed cereals (regardless of the health claims on the box) are sweet sugar-loaded processed junk-food.
We’re often told that muesli is a healthy option. And it certainly can be. But this of course does depend on exactly what’s in it. Most prepackaged ones at the supermarket contain sugar and lots of other nasties ,and the few good ones can be pretty damn pricey. So what’s the solution….it’s to make your own of course.
