Awesome trainers and a great environment to train in where no one judges you, because it’s not about being better than anyone else, it’s about being better than you used to be. I hadn’t done any exercise for a long time but with Rob & Emily’s expert guidance I completed a 10km event after only 4 months of training. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to get off the couch and get in shape.
I contacted Rob after a year absent from exercising due to lower back pain (bulging disk) which gave me constant niggling, burning and tingling sensations. Within a few weeks of training at TBFT, my back pain was relieved. Rob designed a program which was challenging, yet personalised and took into account my injury. My initial consultation was very thorough. Rob has a gift for health and nutrition. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and has great recipe ideas. Don’t be fooled by Rob’s tranquil demeanour - he is tough – workouts are rigorous! Warm ups are challenging enough! Importantly, Rob ensures that my technique is always correct.

I first came to Rob last year trying to find a pt program that was going to beneficial. I've done pt sessions at other gyms that really did nothing. It was so generalized it didnt play to my strengths nor my abilities. Every six weeks your program changes so it doesnt become boring and you loose interest. I had no athletic ability before coming to tbft. I couldn't run 100m without stopping, but now i can, with alot of protest but its something i can do now because of rob and emily.

Rob designed a programme that worked on more core fitness and my very poor balance. I did not realise how weak or unbalanced I was!! I guess you just accept how your body is at that time and how it compensates for your injuries.
I have been going to Rob now for 2 1/2 years and have been amazed at how much improvement there has been in my overall fitness and strength. It is like my muscles (especially my core to support my back) have now "switched on". I feel strong and know that the exercise I have been doing has helped my injury/weakness.
The exercise programmes last for 6 weeks and are always varied. This variety means that there is always a challenge. The PT's are all super friendly and are great at explaining the correct technique. I do not believe I have had the same exercise twice in all that time!
I also enjoy the fact that there are 3 other people working out at the same time. It's nice to say hi and get to know fellow TBFT'rs.

I've never trained with people who truly care so much about how you feel inside and out before worrying about how you look. The whole team at TBFT are just amazing. I started at TBFT in March and could not recommend Rob and Emily more highly. Their knowledge and ability to provide you with motivation is amazing. I have lost weight and feel more healthy and fit. They guide you with nutrition and as a family we now eat better food and are more aware of the additives that are put in many of the products.
